Anything relating to formal semantics and linguistic structure, or formal semantics and pragmatics, is of interest to me. In recent years I have worked on the following topics:

– Formal syntax/semantics of spoken Arabic,

– Vagueness/gradability and linguistic representations thereof (degree semantics),

– Disjunction and free choice inferences,

– The semantics of “only” and connections to scalar implicature,

– The semantics of tense and aspect.
